There's a cool 16" of free space between the engine and the radiator. By far the nicest and easiest belt replacement I have ever done.  Their concerns would be valid in a z31/z32/z33 but as you mentioned your car has more than enough space.  In the Z cars you couldn't get a frogs dick between the radiator and drive belts.

Well... looks like the 17th isn't going to happen for me. Turns out I have a commitment from 2pm onwards that day...  I'll be at the RA autocross on the 24th, can't make the WAI events on the last weekend of september, but then I am planning to attend all the remaining SCCA events (#7 through #10)
