Stock 318ti has a 4.10 open diff and E36 M3 stock was 3.23 LSD. So I felt that the 3.25 LSD from an E28 was a good fit.

Wagon is long gone. it went to a guy with far better skill and knowledge and means. Knocked out the full trans conversion in like 6 hours. Then had to do a full cooling system overhaul. It will be for sale though is my understanding. It is just in the Twin Cities, karl. so it would be an easy pick up.

I'm gonna b slapping a turbo on the e28 soon so we shall see about the mileage once I calm down on hearing blow off valve lol
